The Universal Design for Learning framework is an excellent resource to use for designing lessons and courses that will meet the needs of all your students. UDL is based on the latest learning science research and is widely used by educators worldwide.
And many students need supports to help them with self-regulation or executive functioning.
Harvard professor and the author of The End of Average Todd Rose says: "Sometimes a dimension of ability that appears to be a weakness becomes a strength in the right context.”
While you cannot provide all students with a custom lesson (but I know you wish you could!) you can certainly start to address some of these ways to differentiate the learning for your students.
Having a guide to help you find ways to reach all your students is essential.
